• If you know HTML you can use HTML in your posts! This means you can post a very nice ad or announcement here! And further good news is if you post here and want to make your posting nicer but don't know how, I'll help you (as time allows and time is short till late at night on weekends so don't expect a instant response)!

• If you run auctions at one of the auction sites like E-bay you may post links to your auctions here! You may also cut and paste code from your `auction submit' program and link to pictures on other sites! Please make sure you own the picture or have permission to use it!

• Don't worry about postings that might compete with my business interests either. Go ahead and post it! This board can't be much of a service if it can't support us both! If you wish to time your posting to appear after mine then E-mail me and "we'll figure it out".

• If you have a special need let me know! If you want a permanent posting, I think we can handle that! You can repost once a week or every X-days and I'll delete your original post and rename the actual original message or you can cut and paste your ad message.

• This message board isn't here for idle talk or even General Discussion of Monster Truck Events and Subjects! In other words "It ain't for gossip"! Karmegeddon's Web Board is the place for discussion messages and reaches a audience more atuned to talk and discussion!

Monster Truck Discussion Board

• This board doesn't exist to allow anyone to harass any other user (especially the users who post items for trade or sale here)! I reserve the right to delete any post and ban most anyone at any time and for any reason!

• This board isn't for General MTM questions either but feel free to post announcements of new tracks, trucks, programs or requests for new trucks or tracks. Do Realize though that most of these postings might be better on the MTM Message Board!

• Earlier last month we added some space for this board's message archives. We've converted to a new script called "The Mr. Fong Device"! This new script has a autocut feature where it will maintain the veiwable message list size at a predetermined number. As this new script takes over completely it should archive the last couple hundred messages and automatically remove messages from the list at the pre-determined size. So use the search function if you are looking for something and it's not in the message list.

• Another advantage to this will be many of the major search engines pickup on the ads and postings here. It's quite possible that a ad you post here now that doesn't even show in the listing can still draw inquiries (business) for you a year later. Let me know if you need an ad removed to stop further inquiries.

• I've made another change to the board main page which will give me a little more flexability in updating and should be a little faster. The new script has been implemented now but the old script is still in service for older postings.

• I looked up the stats for this board and implemented a counter so you can see how much usage the board gets. My next step might be to add a counter to each message. Haven't quite figured out how to do that yet.

• This new script requires that you fill in the E-mail address space in the posting form with a working E-mail address. (ALWAYS!) I see that as a good idea. You can setup a freebie E-mail address somewhere if you don't want to use your normal E-mail address here. Children under 14 may use the word "exempt" as a Email username followed by @yourisp.com. ie; exempt@monsterhighway.com.

• I'm still working on setting up a special pre-configured posting mechanism for the more regular advertisers tailored to their needs. I haven't figured out how to do this yet either but It should be something like a special form page (maybe with multiple forms) pre-filled in with fancier HTML, logos and more pictures.
  
  In the meantime this script should now automatically fill in some of the form info like your name, E-mail address, the optional link fields and images URLs. This is done by setting a cookie in your browser. You'll need to change these preset items the next time you post if they no longer apply or don't fit in with the new posting subject.
